2022 Digital Technology report
The 2022 Digital Technology in the Not-for-Profit Sector report from Infoxchange is now available.
This report aims to recognise areas of growth and improvement by understanding how not-for-profit organisations across Australia and New Zealand use technology. It provides a benchmark for all not-for-profit organisations across the sector to ensure they are using technology in the best way possible to achieve their mission.
Now in its seventh year, the report surveyed 625 not-for-profit organisations across Australia and New Zealand. It is clear that organisations have invested more in technology in response to the COVID-19 environment, and the report reflects a sector that has transitioned to hybrid-based working.
The key findings include:
- building staff digital skills to better respond to challenges is the number one priority for not for profits as a result of COVID-19
- only 47% of organisations provide cyber-security awareness training to their staff
- 78% of organisations plan to move a significant portion of IT services to the cloud, or are already there.
