17 April 2020
The Impact Unconference was to be held in May in Christchurch but has now been reinvented as a virtual event.
In the midst of unprecedented economic, social and environmental upheaval the organisers are choosing to see this as a perfect storm for impact-oriented action. Now, more than ever, conversations about rebuilding the foundations for a post-crisis world are vital.
Aotearoa’s first-ever Virtual Impact Unconference is happening on Friday 24th April from 1pm - 5pm.
The unconference style means the organisers welcome submission of topic ideas. A preliminary Zoom session on Tuesday 21st April at noon will explain the process. Submissions will then close at noon on Wednesday, 22nd April.
On the 24th April, the Unconference will be hosted across 5 different zoom rooms. Each room will feature presentations on topics chosen and facilitated by participants, along with activation and connection sessions to create opportunities for building meaningful connections.
Tickets are live now and are $5 each - numbers are limited for this first event.
